I’m proud to share that SmartestEnergy Limited (SEL) is now the UK’s 3rd largest Commercial and Industrial (C&I) business supplier by volume, supplying 11.5 TWh, in the Business Retail Market Share report, published by Cornwall Insight. This milestone also sees us rise to 4th in the overall non-domestic market rank.
Since we established our retail business in 2008, we’ve been committed to delivering high quality customer service, market leading products and transparent supply contracts. We’re proud to stand as a top 3 C&I supplier that has achieved our growth organically, we have attracted and retained every single customer by focusing on what truly matters: a customer first approach, product innovation and the know-how to navigate market complexities.

Our expertise also extends to Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs), enabling businesses to forge long-term partnerships with renewable generation sites. These partnerships are crucial for expanding new renewable projects on the UK grid and fostering additionality in the net zero journey. Adding to this, we also offer a range of renewable supply products, including certified Standard and Natural Renewable Supply for reliable zero Scope 2 emissions reporting, and a Specific Renewable product tailored to source power from particular technologies or locations.
